J. Ashlee Albies, Associate

J. Ashlee Albies Ashlee Albies’s legal practice focuses on civil rights and employee-side employment law. Ashlee also has a keen interest in alternative business models and serves as an advisor to local consumer and worker cooperatives. In law school, she was a counselor with the GI Rights hotline, and continues to assist members of the military seeking discharge from the armed forces.  Ashlee serves as Chair of the Portland chapter of the National Lawyers Guild, a progressive bar association with nationwide membership, and sits on its National Executive Committee and is a member of its Military Law Task Force. She is a member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association and Oregon Women Lawyers.  A New Jersey native, Ashlee earned her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University before moving to Oregon to earn her law degree from Lewis and Clark Law School.

When not practicing law, Ashlee enjoys biking around Oregon, her garden, and visits to the coasts.
